Family owned and operated since 1991, Caveman Cavey’s Pizza began when John “Caveman” Cavey left a 25-year career in the tire industry and took a chance on pizza after his cousin told him, “Tires are round… pizzas are round.”

After purchasing a small pizzeria in Frazier Park, John renamed it Caveman Cavey’s Pizza and built it around old-school methods, family recipes—some over 100 years old—and a simple belief:

The community takes care of Caveman Cavey’s, Caveman Cavey’s takes care of the community.

 

More than 30 years later, the restaurant remains family owned and operated, now with the third generation working in the shop and the original Caveman still actively involved.
